Objective

1. Students can name the 5 key leaders during return/re-build of Israel
2. Students can describe the role of those 5 leaders

Lesson – Guided practice – no activity by kids

Show them on a poster board

• Timeline of united kingdom, division, fall, exile and return/rebuild
• Show the corresponding kings that ruled over them in exile
• Show the time and work of 5 key leaders

Wrap-up

• Write in the journal: name the 5 key leaders and their roles in the return of Israelites and re-building of Jerusalem
• Enact a short play: kids pick the roles, practice one Sunday and final performance on the following Sunday (script below)
